Action League Now! (also known as Action League Now!: The Series when it became its own spin-off show) was a stop-motion children's cartoon that aired on Nickelodeon as part of All That and then KaBlam! from 1995-2000. It had a total of 51 episodes, with an average run time of four minutes each.
The show was created by Robert Mittenthal, Will McRobb, and Albie Hecht.
The series follows the antics of a league of superheroes known as Action League as they attempt to save the day--though often cause chaos instead. All characters were physically made up of various action figure, toy, and doll parts, and many of which were voiced by radio personalities from Pittsburgh. Most scenes took place in the home of an unseen resident, with the League's headquarters set up beneath a child's bed.
